April 28 is the National Day of Mourning for workers killed or injured on the job.
This time, let’s not let it stop with a passing thought on one day. Let’s all commit to safer workplaces, better regulation, stronger unions to advocate for employee safety, freedom from violence – and the kind of fair, just economy where nobody feels they have to risk their life to make a living.
Here in Canada, and around the world.
